Kako Komatsu is a graduate gemologist (GIA), an artists metalsmith and a unique stone reader.

She combines shamanism, gemology and jewelry design. A trained specialist in gem appraisal from the Gemological Institute of America, she has worked with stones and jewelry for over two decades.

Kako blends her formal skills as a smith with centuries-old lost traditions from her homeland, like shamanism, to understand how different elements in a stone can influence a person's state of mind. Combining these techniques, she designs a unique piece that expands the bearer's self discovery.

With her design abilities sought by top academies and connoisseurs from Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, it's only natural that her expertise and flair are requested by experienced collectors and the media.
